About the Glow In The Dark Hoverboard 27"
A glow in the dark skateboard! We called it the Hoverboard because it’s so cool it could have only come from the future.
The Set Up
The Hoverboard is a Penny 27” Skateboard. These boards embody what Penny is all about – fun, freedom and the highest quality components possible.
At first glance, the Hoverboard looks like a ghostly white Penny deck with our world-famous retro design. Its true magnificence is only revealed once the sun goes down – we’ve infused the plastic with a little science and a little magic so that the deck actually glows in the dark. How good is that? This glow in the dark deck has the same strong, sturdy plastic formulation of all our Pennyskateboard decks. It’ll feel great to skate and will last forever.
We matched the deck’s ghostly green glow with jet black hardware. The trucks, wheels and high tensile bolts are all practically invisible at night, keeping the focus on the glowing deck. Come dusk, it’ll look like you’re cruising the streets on the world’s first working hoverboard. Eat your heart out, Marty McFly!
Trucks
Penny’s 3” powder-coated skateboard trucks are made from strong, lightweight, A grade aluminium. Penny has specially designed the pressed kingpins in these trucks to be perfect for cruising and tight turning.
The Hoverboard features 59mm 83A super smooth Pennyskateboard wheels. These wheels pair perfectly with the PennyAbec7 bearings to create one of the smoothest, cruisiest rides on the planet.
