Rocker Type
XC2 BTX – A small space of rocker between the bindings extends to aggressive camber on the top and tail. This puts more camber underfoot to increase pressure at the tip and tail. Extra pressure means more power when you're bombing everything from spring slush to fresh fields of powder.
Flex
Flex Rating: 7 (1 Soft - 10 Stiff) – A stiff flex ideal for aggressive riders looking to dominate the mountain. High speed turning precision and stability combined with stable landings and tons of pop.
Shape
True Twin – A true twin snowboard shape is ideal for riders who want to ride switch. The nose and tail are identical and the flex distributes throughout the entirety of the board. True twins are symmetrical.
Core
Light Hearted Core – Roxy designed the core to be ultra-lightweight. Made from a combination of fast-growing, strong and sustainable timbers.
Laminates
Silky Smooth – Lighter than fiberglass, this renewable organic fiber has inherent vibration dampening properties. Silky Smooth has more elasticity compared to other fibers used in snowboard construction.
Triaxial – Fiberglass laid in three different directions to enhance torsion and pop.
Vectran – A strong, lightweight, liquid-crystal polymer that has exceptional strength-to-weight ratio. Providing outstanding vibration dampening and high impact resistance.
Sidewalls
5 SW – UHMW (Ultra High Molecular Weight) sidewalls made from a soy-based elastomer. Laminated with five internal layers of wood to create a durable sidewall.
Base
Sintered 9900 – Ultra-durable and highly porous for increased wax absorption and lightening fast riding.
Die-Cut Base – Base color displayed may not be available. Base colors may vary.
Edges
Magne-Traction™ – Strategically located serrations on your edges that create confidence building, fatigue-reducing edge hold all over the mountain especially on hard pack and ice.
Topsheet
Clear Bio Plastic Bean – This is an earth-friendly, bio-plastic top skin made from beans. The clear skin lets you see through to the core of your board. This topsheet features the highest strength-to-weight ratio and dampens for an unbeatable ride.

Camber/Rocker/Camber Camber/Rocker/Camber is a profile that’s specific to snowboards and which works because the rider’s weight flattens the two cambered areas. This design produces a strong, pressured carving zone between the rider’s feet and retains pop and carving precision at the tip and tail.

Flex Rating
Stiff The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
