Rocker Type
The System Camber – Arbor's Camber profile has a poppy ride with crisp, fully engaged performance. The parabolic camber has uprise fenders to help to keep the outside contact points from digging into the snow, thus creating a cleaner, less-catchy board.
Uprise Fenders – Pull the contact zones off the snow with angled 3° risers on all Camber System designs.
Flex
7 – 1 = Soft, 10 = Stiff
Shape
Grip-Tech – A tri-radial sidecut design that is not "blended." Natural shaping intersections, that in the past were eliminated, have been transformed into heel and toe contact points that provide a direct, more ergonomic way to grip the snow when additional control is needed.
Thunderhead Tip – Big-mountain versatility & speed in the deepest snow.
Mountain Twin – A shorter tail than nose gives this board a slightly setback feeling keeping the board on top of the snow and perfect starting point for progression.
Core
Double Barrel II Core LT – The most progressive of Arbor's cores. Two Bamboo struts run tip-to-tail down the center of this upgraded Poplar core. Bamboo adds power and strength for bigger mountain performance.
Laminates
Mixed Glassing – A triax over biax lay-up that's best for versatility: pow, backcountry, groomers, jumps and more.
Sidewalls
360° Rails – A 360°, fully wrapped sidewall that eliminates the need for tip fill, while effectively tying the whole snowboard together. A technology that delivers incredibly tight tolerances for improved board life and durability.
Base
Sintered Base – A higher molecular weight, sintered base that provides added durability and speed.
Topsheet
Hand Dyed Ash Power Ply – The Power Ply works like an added layer of fiberglass. During construction, the natural wood or bamboo fibers are turned into a composite layer inside the board.
Binding Compatibility
2x4 14-Pack Inserts
Specs
- Terrain: Freestyle, All-Mountain, Freeride
Terrain
- Freestyle Freestyle or park snowboards tend to be a bit shorter in length and love terrain parks, rails, jibs, trash cans, tree trunks, riding switch (non-dominant foot forward), wall rides and more. Freestyle boards often feature a true twin shape, and are typically selected by those looking to ride the terrain park. A more versatile variant of a freestyle board is the all-mountain freestyle, which combines the versatility of an all mountain snowboard with the playfulness of a freestyle snowboard. All-Mountain All-mountain snowboards are designed for exploring the whole mountain. They are your go-to for a snowboard that will do anything. They feel at home on groomers, powder, park runs and almost anything in between. The vast majority of snowboarders choose all-mountain boards for their great versatility. If you’re just getting started or unsure of exactly what you need, an all-mountain snowboard is a great choice. Freeride Freeride snowboards are designed for the rider that spends most of the day off groomed runs and in backcountry terrain. They typically have a stiffer flex and are ridden in longer sizes than freestyle snowboards. Freeride snowboards often feature a directional shape that is designed to perform optimally in one direction.
- Ability Level: Intermediate-Advanced
Ability Level
- Intermediate-Advanced Whether you’re a progressing intermediate exploring new runs and terrain, or an accomplished rider seeking new thrills, the majority of skiers and snowboarders fall into this level. Intermediate to advanced skis and snowboards may be somewhat wider or stiffer than beginner-intermediate skis and snowboards, usually with a stronger wood core and sandwich sidewall construction. Intermediate to advanced boots and bindings range from softer flexing freestyle options to stiffer choices built for stability at speed.
- Rocker Type: Camber
Rocker Type
- Camber Camber is the traditional profile for snowboards, and still popular among high-level park and pipe riders because it offers maximum energy and pop. A cambered board has a smooth arch underfoot and touches near the tip and tail when unweighted; when the rider’s weight is added, it provides a long, evenly pressured running surface and edge.
