This print was inspired by a vintage scarf of the Hawaiian Island chain, which was expanded into connections to our PacRim neighbors--California and Japan. Ties to California include the first Reyn's Menswear store in Avalon on Catalina Island and our current office and distribution center in Southern California. Ties to Japan are our history with the printers and art studios in Japan, Japanese prints which we developed in our lines, and our current collaboration with Itochu.

TRANS PACIFIC 40'S TAILORED FIT BUTTON FRONT

One of our most iconic prints where the romance of Hawaii is rendered in the style of vintage poster art.

The 40's was the golden age of aviation and nothing held the imagination more captive then the ultra luxury trans-Pacific Clippers. They were giant flying boats with fixed wings and massive hulls that allowed for long distance travel and landing on water. The Clippers enabled the first trans-ocean passenger service and ushered a new era for Hawaii tourism.
